Almost 30 minutes from the city of Durango, in the municipality of Nombre de Dios, is the tourist spot “El Saltito”, located towards Tuitán and Berros, where there are three waterfalls formed by the waters of the Mezquital River, each one 20 meters high.
But this place is not only the waterfalls that many of us know from photographs, it is much more, especially when you walk into the river, where you will enjoy the vegetation of the place and rocks of various sizes.
This place is still a very traditional place to visit for families from Durango, but it has also been an attraction for filmmakers to shoot movies like “Un Dorado de Pancho Villa”, “Los cañones de San Sebastián”, “Jory”, “El Zorro”, among others.
